Level Measurement
Measurement Preparation
Before measurement, prepare a level, adjusting shims, and other tools. Clean the worktable of the gantry machining center and remove other equipment and items from the work area.
Measurement Procedure
Place the level on the worktable of the gantry machining center and take the measurement. Based on the measurement results, determine the position and direction requiring adjustment.
Adjustment
Adjustment Preparation
Before adjustment, determine the location and method of adjustment and prepare adjusting shims and tools.
Adjustment Procedure
Based on the measurement results, use the adjusting tools to make adjustments, gradually adding adjusting shims. During adjustment, pay attention to the direction and size of the adjustment, and measure repeatedly until the desired level is achieved.
Verification
Verification Preparation
After adjustment, verification is required to ensure the level has been adjusted to the expected level. Verification can be performed using tools such as guide rail perpendicularity gauges.
Verification Procedure
Place the verification tool on the worktable of the gantry machining center and perform the verification. Based on the verification results, determine whether further adjustment is needed. If further adjustments are needed, repeat the second adjustment step; if the verification is successful, proceed to the next step.
